Just Better AI
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Just Better AI (referred to as we, us, or our) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our web application and related services (the Service). It also describes the choices you have regarding your information, including information we access through Google APIs when you connect a Google account.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who we are
The Service is an outreach and customer-relationship tool that helps users manage their contacts, prepare email messages, and send those messages from their own connected email account. Sending email through your Google account is an optional feature that you control.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you use the Service, we store the content you create and manage, such as contact and company records, notes, email drafts, and your email signature.
Google account information. If you choose to connect your Google account to send email, Google asks you to grant specific permissions. With your consent, we receive and store:
- Your Google Account email address and basic profile information (through the email and profile scopes), used to identify the connected account.
- An authorization token (including a refresh token) that lets the Service send email on your behalf through the Gmail API, using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope.
Important: the gmail.send scope permits sending only. The Service cannot read, view, search, download, or access the contents of your inbox, your existing messages, or any other mail in your account. We request no other Gmail permissions.
Information collected automatically. Like most web applications, we collect basic technical and usage information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as log data and session identifiers.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To send the email messages that you compose and choose to send, from your connected Google account.
- To display which Google account is connected and to apply your email signature.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
- To protect the security and integrity of the Service and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
How we use Google user data (Limited Use)
Just Better AI’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In practice, this means:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the email-sending feature that you have enabled.
- We do not transfer this data to others except as necessary to provide the Service, for security or legal reasons, or with your consent.
- We do not use this data for advertising.
- We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to run the Service, including Google (email delivery and authentication), our database and hosting providers, and providers that help generate email text. These providers process information only on our behalf and under obligations of confidentiality.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your Google authorization tokens only for as long as your account remains connected. When you disconnect your Google account, or when you delete your account, we delete the stored authorization tokens from our systems. You can disconnect at any time, as described below.
Your choices and how to revoke access
- Disconnect in the app. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within the Service, which removes the stored tokens.
- Revoke through Google. You can also review and remove the Service’s access from your Google Account permissions page.
- Access and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access to stored authorization tokens is restricted to the systems that operate the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
We operate in North America, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States, Canada, or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to locations outside your country of residence.
Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice as appropriate.
